Reversed glass painting: ink, acrylic, and pure gold foil (24K), painted reversed on tempered glass.
The work is framed in a double wood frame (picture attached).
The painting is the first one in my new ALCHEMIA series.
Each work from Alchemia series depicts a common healing herb.
The plant is presented in an unusual precious vase; the vase seems unusual for such a simple herb, but it is the recipient in which the plant will transform to become a healing alchemical elixir. I mainly used blue as a colour repeting in every vase from my Alchemia series.
